A/PROF RAMESH BALASUBRAMANIAM OAM

A/Prof Ramesh Balasubramaniam is an Oral Medicine Specialist with interests in Orofacial Pain, Temporomandibular Disorders and Dental Sleep Medicine. He has numerous publications and two textbooks, most notably the authoritative textbook titled “Contemporary Oral Medicine.” He is actively involved in teaching and research at the Dental School within the University of Western Australia. Ramesh is president of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia (2019-2022). Ramesh also has public appointments at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia and Perth Children’s Hospital. Ramesh was awarded an OAM for Service to Dentistry in 2021.
